It turns out, that my account was hacked last night. Well, it was that, or I suddenly got a hankering for female body parts and porn.
Not so much.
4 tweets spewed out in a row – all from me, but not from me. Thankfully, twitter caught on to the culprit pretty quickly. By the time I woke up and received Kim’s message – complete with screen shot – the messages were already gone.
I tweeted it once, but I’ll tweet it again: I apologize if I offended any of my followers. I didn’t come from me, and honestly, I had NO idea there was even a #tittytuesday. 😉
Let this be a quick and easy lesson to change your password, change it often and make it hard.
That is how they get hacked, right?
I use Last Pass to generate and store all of my passwords. It has nice little plugins for Chrome, Firefox and even IE (not sure about the Mac browsers, but I’m sure they have it as well) but I don’t think I could live without this software.
Having access to my client’s sites, it is imperative that I store them properly.
So GO – change your passwords NOW! Do it BEFORE your followers think you have some interesting fetishes!
