Let’s be honest. Your monthly promotions and newsletters can only take you so far. Client-centered care is the hallmark of any respected business, and in my opinion, it’s even more true in real estate. Without quality service, your business will fail. What matters most is for your client to feel as though they are a priority and are appreciated. This is what gets them talking to their friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers about why they too need your services.
Form a Relationship with Your Client
It starts with the consultation. By the time that you know you’re a good match, you should have already started forming a relationship with your client. They need to know that their business, in fact, they themselves, are important to you. When they feel that they’re a priority to you, they begin to trust that your decisions will be in the best interest of their company.
It’s Not What You Say But What You Do
Make sure to under promise and over deliver. They’re paying attention and they remember. If you’ve promised something that you don’t deliver, they lose confidence in your business. So it’s important to make sure that you follow through with any promise. They’ll be watching.
Answer Your Phone
It stands to reason that you need to pick up the phone when they call the first time. You won’t get the business if you don’t pick up. But, it’s even more important to pick up the phone after they sign the contract. If you don’t, they’ll feel their business is a low priority to you.
The biggest test to any business is when they’re dealing with complaints. To be honest, some people are very hard to please. It’s at these times, that you need to really listen. Any defensiveness will block your ability to solve the problem.
What is client care? It’s caring for your client and making them feel like they’re the only client you have. AgentLeverage is a client-centered business that makes their clients a top priority.
